about

Lindsay Kerns is a writer and producer who grew up in rural Nebraska and now resides in Los Angeles.

She holds an MFA from the Peter Stark Producing Program at USC, and a BFA in Film and New Media from the Johnny Carson School of Theatre and Film at the University of Nebraska. Here are a few other things she’s done…

—studied Medieval and Renaissance History for two terms at the University of Oxford, England

—worked as a horse wrangler for two summers in the Colorado Rockies

—co-founded The Colonel Mustard Amateur Attic Theatre Company, a 501(c)3 non-profit arts organization that has provided free public entertainment in Lincoln, Nebraska, since 2007

As a professional comedy/animation writer, Lindsay got her start at Will Ferrell's digital comedy platform, Funny Or Die, where she collaborated closely with celebrities to make funny, weird, and maybe-even-almost-smart Internet videos. She has also written plentiful sketch comedy and branded content for digital outlets such as AwesomenessTV, Netflix Is A Joke, Microsoft, and YouTube (branded). She has written for more than ten animated television series for DreamWorks, Netflix, Nickelodeon, and Cartoon Network, including the highly anticipated upcoming “JURASSIC WORLD: CAMP CRETACEOUS”. She is currently developing an unannounced adult animated television series, which she can’t WAIT to be legally allowed to talk about!

Today Lindsay spends her time wondering why she wrote this bio in the third person, and whether it's worth taking another pass on it. Eh, probably not.
